As his music seeps through the speakers, he thinks to himself, when will the west be next? Having dealt with the streets through music, street life opened his eyes. The street life helped build aggression and motivation which captivated him to voice the true reality of the streets and the music industry. Through his melodious cry and taking part as an Egyptian mythical bird that never dies and brings new life as he flies to the distance far ahead to the front and scans the landscape into space. This represents his capacity with vision for collecting sensory information about the environment and the events unfolding within it. His music with its great beauty creates intense excitement and eternal inspiration of street poetry.

Phoenix, now 25 years old has been accustomed to the studio since his adolescent years. Born on the west-side of Cleveland, Ohio, this ambitious man strived to be a leader. Growing up fatherless led him to be a role model to his piers. This gave him the motivation and inspiration to fulfill his dreams. Trapped between a rock and a hard place, he met Shimmy at Patem Down Studio’s through a local artist and entered into a contract with D.T.L.T. Entertainment for a two year period late in 2005 and ending 2007.

Phoenix Hip Hop recording artist stepped into the music scene in 1999 as a member of the group Crime Syndicate, who released the album “Luv 4 What I Claim.” He later decided to go solo and released four of his own projects. His explosive lyrics and distinct voice appears to be nonstop because of his versatility. He reaches out attracting listeners’ attention. The mix-tape “Yardwurk” was released in the summer of 2007 hosted by legendary DJ Chicago. (“Dj 4 Hire” said it “To be the hottest mix tape in the city.”) Phoenix released “Livin-N-Truth”album early in 2008. He continued to get college radio exposure which helped him break into main stream radio. With the hit single “H8TR’s” that was aired seven days straight on WENZ (107.9) FM Hip Hop Radio Station in Cleveland.

Phoenix has been featured on a variety of mix tapes and has performed at venues across Ohio. Phoenix is currently living in the Tampa, Florida area and has become C.E.O of his own entertainment publication. By being determined and consistent Phoenix is rapidly become a house hold name. Phoenix today is in the market looking for Capitol investors, management, touring, recording collaborations, distribution, and sponsorships.
